Women of Steel – Saturday 9th March @ 7pm, Kelham Island Museum
Our last performance featured as part of the Classical Sheffield Weekend 2019 where we performed a taster of our new opera “Women of Steel” which tied in with the theme of International Women’s Day on 8th March. It told the story of the women who worked in the city’s munitions factories during Word War II. It was performed amongst the remains of Kelham Island’s industrial past.
