Chloe Saywell

British soprano Chloe Saywell was born in Lincoln and read music at Sheffield University where she studied with Carol Smith and James Colclough. She graduated with First Class Honours in 2009 and went on to complete a Masters specialising in solo performance at the Royal Northern College of Music with Sandra Dugdale.
Roles include the Governess (Turn of the Screw), Tytania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Marguerite (Faust), Arethuze (Actéon), Dafne (Apollo e Dafne), 1st Witch (Dido and Aeneas) and Sombra (The Arcadians). Opera scenes include, Alcina (Alcina), Zdenka (Arabella), Clorinda (La Cenerentol) and Suzy (La Rondine).
Chloe is a passionate recitalist and has performed in venues across the UK and Europe, including Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall and the Duomo in Florence. Chloe is also an artist in residence with Live Music Now.
