Sheffield City Opera is looking for an artistic director for our production of Jules Massenet’s Cinderella next May.
We are looking for a person that match as closely to the following criteria:-
- Experience staging full operas in a theatre.
- Prepared to work with an amateur company and have ideas on how to create an exciting production on a limited budget
- Live locally in Sheffield and be prepared to organise and take rehearsals from Jan – May next year
Ideally we are looking for someone who wishes to gain more experience with opera production and can “bed-in” with the company for its duration. Due to limited funds we would not be able to pay for this undertaking, but could provide some expenses.
